cppcheck-gui software package provides tool for static C/C++ code analysis (GUI), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cppcheck-gui
cppcheck-gui is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cppcheck-gui package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cppcheck-gui *
You will get with cppcheck-gui package name, version, architecture and description in a table
